Artist Statment
This assignment was the first ever book that we had to create in our design careers. This project constituted ½ a semester’s work. The content of these magazines could have been very diverse but it must have fallen into one of the following four categories: Lifestyle, Travel, Art, or Technology. The magazine is subscriber-based and therefore will not have to compete in a retail environment. I chose to complete mine on the 1980's and their hair metal bands. These bands have shaped my love for music and my passion to bring back the aesthetic and love for the style that was once so popular.
